During the week of October 27th – October 31st, the 8th grade class is sponsoring Spirit Week to help raise awareness and funds for their 8th grade service project – *Cradles to Crayons.
During the week, students are encouraged to bring in spare change to be donated during lunches and to donate $1 in Connections to wear costumes on Halloween.
Each day this week will be dedicated to a theme. Students are encouraged to show their school spirit by participating.
Monday: Pajama Day – Come to school dressed in your favorite (school appropriate) pajamas!
Tuesday: Twinsie Tuesday – Dress like a friend or group of friends.
Wednesday: Way Back Wednesday – Students are encouraged to dress up from a different decade. 6th graders are the 60s, 70th graders the 70s, 8th graders the 80s.
Thursday: Backwards Day – Students are encouraged to think “backwards.” Clothes and hats can be worn backwards.
Friday: Halloween – Students can wear their funniest, scariest, and most creative costumes. No masks allowed.
