Wear costumes Nov 1st and bring in excess candy

Students can wear Halloween costumes on Thursday if they bring in $1 for the My Stuff Bags project.  As per usual, no masks or props, and costumes must adhere to WSSD dress code.

Also, kids are challenged to bring in their unneeded candy and dump it in the CANDYCARE collection box in the Main Office.  Some of the candy will get delivered to St. John’s Hospice in Philadelphia, which serves dinner to 500+ homeless on Thanksgiving.  In Delaware County, candy will be given out over the next few months as a special treat (especially birthdays) to children in local homeless shelters.  Boxes will be in the Main Office until November 30th.  Thanks to Barb Bellace for organizing.
